About Piano Playtime
Our little maestros think their Piano Playtime classes are just too FUN! Little do they know how many decades of research went into the carefully designed curriculum to focus on their advanced brain development. We should have all been so lucky!
Most of our preschools schedule piano in the morning, due to the brain intensive “work” that it involves, and the superior academic value that is provides. It may be possible to do after school times but is preferable, for the sake of the children, to have morning classes.
According to extensive studies, preschool piano significantly beats computer classes, foreign languages and even violin for measurable accelerated brain development. All of our Piano Playtime classes include the following:
- Individual videos sent to each family of their child at the piano during the year.
- Periodic newsletters to parents, and DCMA takes care of all parent communication, billing, scheduling etc., with copies to the host school director.
- Trifold brochures at the preschool, year round for parents.
- We can provide parent release forms so additional preschool staff are not required to be in the PPT classes, or have our teachers meet the requirements of your school,
- Highly trained teachers with degrees or advanced degrees, ongoing background checks and quality control,
- Sample flyer below, sent to families to announce classes.
- PARENT PAY MODEL
- Minimum of 10 sign-ups per school to start a PPT program
- State-of-the-Art Curriculum, based on decades of research
- 4-6 children per class, 6 keyboards, 30 min/1x/week
- 10% kickback to host schools
- 8 sq.ft. floor space
- Families pay $88/mo, no contracts
- Trial lessons for groups of 4-20 children
- PRESCHOOL PAY MODEL
- We supply shared keyboards for the children.
- 8-20 children per 30 minute class, minimum 2 classes per week,
- 1 hr/4x/mo (two thirty min classes/wk) or as many as desired,
- Minimum of 1 hr/week/per school to start a PPT program,
- We can go from class to class if needed, or have the children come to a dedicated space for piano.
- State-of-the-Art Curriculum, based on decades of research on neural development in early childhood,
- Spring recital (Piano Party) every year, with discounts on private piano for all Piano Playtime graduates.
Sample: Say a preschool has 2 Pre-K classes and 2 Pre-school classes, wanting all of the children to have Piano Playtime. They can arrange for 1 hr/week of Piano Playtime, alternating weeks between Pre-K and Preschool classes. The piano teacher can work 30 minutes with each Pre-K class one week, and then work with the two Preschool classes the next week, same day and time. This way the children all get 1 hour total of Piano Playtime per month.
In addition to our well educated, caring and dedicated instructors, frequent recitals, weekly notes for parents, and class videos of core songs are the standard.
