Congratulations! Your child is graduating from Piano Playtime and heading off to kindergarten – what an exciting milestone! We’ve loved making music with your little one, and we hope Piano Playtime sparked a love for music that will last a lifetime.

Why Keep Going?
Piano study has been shown to support brain development and cognitive growth when started in the preschool years and nurtured over time. Your child has already built an incredible foundation through Piano Playtime – they’ve explored rhythm, melody, listening, and creativity in ways that are already shaping how they learn. Kindergarten is the perfect time to build on that foundation with private lessons!
Private piano lessons allow your child to:
- Grow at their own pace with one-on-one attention from a dedicated teacher
- Build on the musical skills and confidence they developed in Piano Playtime
- Strengthen focus, coordination, and problem-solving – skills that support their learning in school, too
- Continue doing something they already love!
What Do Private Lessons Look Like?
Our Whole Music Approach means lessons aren’t just about reading notes on a page. Your child will learn to play, improvise, listen, and create from the very first lesson. We meet each student where they are and build from there, so your Piano Playtime grad will feel right at home. Lessons are 30 minutes, once a week, and scheduled at a time that works for your family. Our teachers are warm, experienced, and love working with young beginners.
Where and How Much?
We offer private lessons in a few convenient locations:
- DaVinci Arts Center – our home base in Broomfield
- Timbuk Toys @ University Hills – a fun, familiar spot for south Denver families
- In your home – we come to you! A travel fee applies (see below).
Tuition:
- 30-Minute Private Lessons (ages 5–adult): $156/month
- In-Home Travel Fee: $57-$77/month (depending on location), added to monthly tuition
Tuition is billed monthly, and we’re happy to walk you through the details when you reach out.
How to Get Started
Getting set up is easy! Here’s what to do:
- Reach out to us – Email us at director@davinciarts.org or call 720-466-5119 and let us know your child is a Piano Playtime graduate ready for private lessons. We’ll help match them with the right teacher.
- Begin your journey – Once you’re ready, we’ll get you enrolled and your child will be on their way!
Not quite sure if your child is ready? That’s okay! We can set up a trial lesson so they can meet their new teacher and experience a short private lesson firsthand. Just let us know when you reach out.
