Taylor Zinn
Violin, Piano
“I believe music is a special gift that should be nurtured through both passion and dedication. I am committed to joining each student on their unique journey – whether in classical, pop, or fiddle – and inspiring them to discover a genuine love for music. My mission is to help every student build a strong technical and musical foundation while guiding them to explore and define their own path.”
Taylor Zinn was born and raised in Southern California where she began her formal training. She studied classical violin under Rocky Lee and has 20+ years of playing experience. Her performance career has taken her across Europe, with appearances in sold- out venues in England, Wales, Ireland, France, Germany, and Greece, as well as in world-class concert halls including Walt Disney Concert Hall, Carnegie Hall, and the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. Taylor holds a Bachelor’s Degree in violin performance at Pepperdine University and studied under the tutelage of Alexander Treger.
Taylor brings a rich and versatile background as an orchestral musician, chamber performer, and arts administrator. She has honed her craft at some of the most prestigious summer programs in the world, including the Heidelberg Music Institute, Emerald Coast Chamber Music Festival (ECCMF), National Repertory Orchestra (NRO), National Music Festival (NMF), and the Aspen Music Festival and School (AMFS), experiences that enrich her artistry and refine her pedagogy.
Equally devoted to music education, Taylor brings over nine years of teaching experience across private instruction, group lessons to orchestra sectionals. Taylor has experience teaching students as young as age three all the way up to adults, guiding each according to their unique needs and goals. Taylor’s students have gone on to earn the top chairs in their respective school ensembles and many have continued their musical studies at university level. Known for her vibrant and supportive style, Taylor is dedicated to fostering both musical development and personal growth while building lasting connections with her students.
Recently relocated to Colorado, Taylor is rapidly growing her music studio while connecting with the Denver community. Alongside her teaching, Taylor is currently freelancing as a violinist and is a member of the Symphony of the Rockies. In her free time, Taylor enjoys traveling, listening to new music, exploring different cuisines, and spending time with her friends and family.
