Rayne Charging Thunder

Born and raised in small town Gordon, Nebraska, Rayne Charging Thunder found her way to music through band class. She was given a Clarinet and the experience that would guide her for years to come. Rayne strives to inspire her students and ignite a passion in them as her educators did her. She believes that every student deserves opportunities to thrive and be involved in what they love. Her teaching style shapes students musically but also leaves them better than how she found them, as teaching is not only about the notes on the page but the personal connections made through music.

Rayne received her Bachelors in Music Industry from Chadron State College and recently moved to the Denver area to spread her wings as a freelance musician and private music instructor. She is well-versed in Classical and Jazz performance & teaching. She teaches Clarinet, Flute, Saxophone, and Piano as well as music theory, improvisation, and overcoming performance anxiety.

Being a member of the Oglala Lakota Sioux tribe, Rayne has been studying Lakota in an effort to revitalize the language and connect to her heritage. You can also find her studying crystals, spirituality, and energy work. On top of all that, Rayne is also an artist who has recently taken on painting in addition to drawing.
