Holly DiRenzo

Holly DiRenzo began her music endeavors at a young age in El Paso, Texas, beginning with piano lessons. She then began trumpet lessons at the age of ten and played in wind ensembles, jazz bands, symphonic orchestras, and marching bands all through high school. Holly started her college years at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), and finished with a degree in Music Education with an Instrumental Emphasis after transferring to California State University Northridge (CSUN).

Holly taught both private piano and trumpet lessons for seventeen years in Southern California before relocating to Colorado three years ago. She has since been employed with the Denver Public School District working with special needs students, utilizing music as a form of therapy and a mode of communication with these amazing kids. Holly teaches with passion and patience, emphasizing music theory and notation, ear training, many different styles and techniques, and above all else a long lasting love and appreciation for the arts.
