Bobby Krech
Violin, Piano, Guitar, Mandolin, Ukulele Instructor
Bobby fell in love with music as a child over thirty years ago after a teacher told him “he had the talent.” He started on the violin in private lessons, school and youth orchestras, and then began playing professionally in 2000. On the violin, he plays many styles including classical, Irish, bluegrass, gypsy-swing, jazz, Klezmer, etc., in addition to writing original compositions. Bobby is a skilled orchestral luthier, having studied from masters within the state and around the world, and is also the proud owner of Krech Fiddle Services, specializing in professional instrument repair and performance.
While the violin is Bobby’s primary instrument, he is also proficient on the mandolin, guitar, and piano. You can hear Bobby featured in a variety of bands around the state. He is excited about the opportunity to share his skills and interests with DaVinci students.
