Amanda Crumley

Piano / Voice / Ukulele

Amanda has always been drawn to music and music-making. She grew up in New Mexico, singing in choirs, later moving to Greeley, Colorado, where she earned her Bachelor of Music Education degree in Voice and Piano at UNC. Shortly after graduating, she moved to Chicago where she earned her Masters in Jazz Voice at Chicago College of Performing arts. She has sung with the Chicago Symphony Chorus, the Grant Park Chorus, and with chamber ensembles such as Bella Voce, the William Ferris Chorale and currently sings with St. Martin’s Chamber Choir in Denver.

While in Chicago, she formed a band to perform her original Americana influenced music.  Mandy & the Bandits performed extensively around Chicago, and released two albums of original music.

After teaching in the classroom for many years, she is gratefully once again a freelance musician, teaching private voice and piano, and singing with various groups including St. Martin’s Chamber Choir, and performing her own music as a solo singer-songwriter.

Amanda loves working with students of all ages and skill levels, and across many different genres.  While nurturing the unique artistry in each student, she strives to make lessons a joyful experience.
